Our members usually meet on the first Thursday of each month at various locations for networking, speakers, tours and industry related programs. Our exciting NAWIC programs gives members opportunities to interact with many construction industry professionals and to discover how becoming a member can be your pathway to your personal growth and professional success. Our members can expect value from their investment, affording them many professional, educational, and business opportunities.

NAWIC Cleveland hosts the annual Block-Kids Building Program competition each year for children in the first through sixth grades. This national building program competition is sponsored on the local level by NAWIC chapters and other organizations. The award-winning program introduces children to the construction industry in an effort to create an awareness of and to promote an interest in future careers in one of the many facets of our industry.

NAWIC Cleveland is also involved with Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build program. This program empowers women to build Habitat for Humanity homes, enabling them to positively impact the lives of children by making home ownership an attainable reality for low-income families.

NAWIC Cleveland awards scholarships to male and/or female students pursuing construction-related studies each year. These scholarships are available to students entering their junior or senior year at a Northeast Ohio college. To date the chapter has awarded more than $40,000.00 in scholarships.
